foolish ox (philosophical )

i think the wisest man of all
is one whom never stops learning
inside of him he has a fire
and its flames never stops burning
knowledge is his first passion
his thoughts are always churning
he understands the more he sees
the less he really knows
and no matter how many times death surpasses him
life continuously grows
he realizes no matter how many books he has read
authors will print a million more
and no matter how many rooms he has encountered
there will always be one unopened door
he grasps the notion that possibilities exist
and shifts constantly force out change
to him theories are only theories
because he realizes the facts of life forever rearrange
when he speaks you know his words are true
because the wisest man of all
only declares to comprehend the things he has lived through
only commenting upon the things his eyes have actually seen
he takes in all of his surroundings
but he never claims to understand what any of it means

Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it. ~Andre Gide
